System Developer / Analyst - Information Technology

The City of Topeka is seeking qualified candidates for a professional, technical and consultative Systems Developer position.

The System Developer is responsible for conducting business process analysis and improvement and providing direct end user support for information systems and applications. Develops, plans and implements process improvement projects to increase related organizational quality and performance and creates interfaces between various applications using REST API or SOAP and/or .NET framework. Additionally, the position troubleshoots issues with applications, reports, data load failures and/or data retrieval issues.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Management, or a closely related field, an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be substituted for college degree. Must have four years of experience, including extensive experience creating API interfaces using REST API and SOAP along with experience creating .NET application and administering and designing SharePoint site.

Must possess and maintain a valid Kansas Class C Driverís License and city insurable driving record.  

Annual entry salary: up to $74,000, DOQ
